A Bit About Me
I started my passion for photography when I was in high school, I took many studio art and painting classes and always struggled to find the perfect source images for my paintings. So, I started to create my own.
I would take all the lamps and lights from around my house and set them all up in my living room in front of a blank wall. I would then take my younger sister and have her model for me in front of the blank wall. My parents would help me with lighting and move around all the lamps and lights and hold them in ridiculous spots to help me get the perfect shots.
The images came out great, but they weren't enough for me. So, I started grabbing all my paints and some of the most ridiculous props for my sister to pose with. I covered her face with different stripes and designs until her face was full of paint. Those pictures I was able to turn into incredible paintings that won many different awards, but the process of getting the source image and the photography behind my paintings is what intrigued me the most.
Ever since I have been exploring the power of portraits and the art of portrait photography. I love to incorporate as much color into my images as possible. I experiment with many different mediums and props to try to get the most out of my photographs. When I got to college I started to explore the world of Sports Photography as well. I am now one of the head Sports Photographers at Endicott and learning more and more every day about the art of Photography.
